सोशल मीडिया पर इन दिनों एक वीडियो काफी वायरल हो रहा है। इस वायरल वीडियो में नजर आ रहा है कि एक लड़की ऑनलाइन फूड डिलीवरी सेवा उपलब्ध कराने वाली कंपनी Zomato का ड्रेस पहनकर शानदार बाइक चल रही है। इस दौरान लड़की ने हेलमेट भी नहीं पहना है। यह वीडियो मध्य प्रदेश के इंदौर का बताया जा रहा है। इस वीडियो के वायरल होने के बाद यह कहा जा रहा था कि Zomato ने इस लड़की को कंपनी के प्रचार के लिए रखा है। यह भी कहा जा रहा था कि यह लड़की सुबह-शाह एक घंटे के लिए इंदौर की सड़कों पर स्पोर्ट्स बाइक चलाती है और ताकि कंपनी का प्रचार हो सके। कई लोग लड़की के हेलमेट नहीं पहनने पर भी सवाल उठा रहे थे।
अब इस पूरे विवाद पर Zomato की तरफ से भी प्रतिक्रिया सामने आई है। फूड डिलीवरी ऐप Zomato की तरफ से कहा गया है कि बिना हेलमेट सड़क पर मोटरसाइकिल दौड़ा रही इस लड़की का कंपनी से कोई लेना देना नहीं है। जोमैटो के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर और सीईओ दीपेंद्र गोयल ने मंगलवार को इस पूरे विवाद पर स्थित स्पष्ट की है। उन्होंने कहा कि वायरल वीडियो में नजर आ रही लड़की का कंपनी से कोई लेना-देना नहीं है। एक्स दीपेंद्र गोयल ने कहा, ‘हाय! हमारा इसके साथ कोई लेना-देना नहीं है। हम बिना-हेलमेट मोटरसाइकिल चलाने को बढ़ावा नहीं देते हैं। इसके अलावा हमारे पास इंदौर के मार्केटिंग हेड भी नहीं हैं।’
दरअसल एक्स पर एक यूजर ने इस लड़की का वीडियो पोस्ट किया था। इस वीडियो में लड़की कंपनी की डिलीवरी बैग के साथ नजर आ रही है। उन्होंने लिखा था, ‘इंदौर में जौमैटो के मार्केटिंग प्रमुख का यह आइडिया था। उन्होंने इंदौर में मोटरसाइकिल से चलाने के लिए एक मॉडल को हायर किया। वो खाली बैग लेकर सुबह और शाम एक घंटे के लिए बाइक चलाती है।’
इसपर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए गोयल ने कहा, ‘ऐसा लगता है कि यह सिर्फ हमारे ब्रांड के साथ फ्री-राइडिंग है। महिलाएं फूड डिलीवर करें तो इसमें कुछ भी गलत नहीं है। हमारी कंपनी में सैकड़ों महिलाएं हैं जो हर दिन फूड डिलीवरी करती हैं और अपना परिवार चलाती हैं। हमें उनके काम पर गर्व है।’
Zomato care ने राजीव नाम के एक यूजर को एक्स पर जवाब देते हुए कहा, ‘हाय राजीव, हम यह स्पष्ट कर देना चाहते हैं कि इस वीडियो से हमारा कोई लेना-देना नहीं है। हम बिना हेलमेट मोटरसाइकिल चलाने को बढ़ावा नहीं देते हैं और इंदौर में हमारे कोई मार्केटिंग हेड नहीं हैं।’
