नीमच रिंग रोड निर्माण को लेकर नीमच जिले के लिए एक बड़ी और बहुप्रतीक्षित सौगात सामने आई है। मंगलवार को कलेक्टर श्री हिमांशु चंद्रा ने चीताखेड़ा मेन रोड से जयसिंहपुरा होते हुए डूंगलावदा तक प्रस्तावित रिंग रोड मार्ग का स्थल निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने रिंग रोड निर्माण के लिए उपलब्ध शासकीय भूमि, निजी भूमि अधिग्रहण की प्रगति तथा जमीन पर सीमा चिन्ह लगाने के कार्य की समीक्षा की और संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि भू-अर्जन की प्रक्रिया को तेज गति से पूर्ण कर निर्माण कार्य शीघ्र प्रारंभ करवाया जाए।

लोक निर्माण विभाग (PWD) के एसडीओ ने निरीक्षण के दौरान जानकारी दी कि नीमच रिंग रोड निर्माण परियोजना की कुल लंबाई 21.10 किलोमीटर होगी। यह रिंग रोड नीमच बायपास वाया जयसिंहपुरा, बघाना और नयागांव से होकर गुजरेगा। इस परियोजना की स्वीकृत लागत 116.67 करोड़ रुपये है, जो इसे जिले की सबसे बड़ी सड़क परियोजनाओं में से एक बनाती है।

कलेक्टर ने यह भी निर्देश दिए कि जमीन पर सीमा चिन्ह लगाने का कार्य शीघ्र पूर्ण किया जाए ताकि निर्माण एजेंसी को समय पर साइट उपलब्ध कराई जा सके। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को चेतावनी दी कि यदि कार्य में लापरवाही पाई गई तो जिम्मेदारी तय की जाएगी।
