नीमच। नीमच में पेयजल टंकी सफाई अभियान: नगरीय क्षेत्रों व स्कूलों में चला स्वच्छ पेयजल अभियान। जिले में स्वच्छ पेयजल की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करने के उद्देश्य से कलेक्टर श्री हिमांशु चंद्रा के मार्गदर्शन में रविवार को एक व्यापक अभियान चलाया गया। इस अभियान के तहत नीमच जिले के सभी शासकीय एवं अशासकीय विद्यालयों, नगरीय क्षेत्रों, जल संयंत्रों तथा छात्रावासों में स्थित पेयजल टंकियों की साफ-सफाई, क्लोरिनेशन और पाइपलाइन सुधार का कार्य किया गया। जिला प्रशासन द्वारा चलाया गया यह अभियान विद्यार्थियों, छात्रावास में रहने वाले बच्चों और आम नागरिकों के स्वास्थ्य संरक्षण की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम माना जा रहा है।
जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी ने बताया कि अभियान के दौरान जिले की सभी शासकीय एवं अशासकीय शालाओं में स्थित पेयजल टंकियों की विधिवत सफाई कराई गई। टंकियों में जमी गंदगी को हटाकर उन्हें पूरी तरह स्वच्छ किया गया, ताकि दूषित जल से होने वाली बीमारियों की आशंका को समाप्त किया जा सके। इसके साथ ही जल को शुद्ध बनाए रखने के लिए क्लोरिनेशन की प्रक्रिया भी अपनाई गई।
विद्यालयों में आरओ सिस्टम की भी हुई सफाई
अभियान के अंतर्गत विद्यालयों में स्थापित आरओ (रिवर्स ऑस्मोसिस) प्रणालियों की भी गहन साफ-सफाई कराई गई। कई स्थानों पर आरओ के पुराने और खराब फिल्टर बदले गए, जिससे बच्चों को शुद्ध और सुरक्षित पेयजल मिल सके। जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी ने संबंधित संस्था प्रधानों को निर्देशित किया है कि वे नियमित रूप से आरओ सिस्टम और पेयजल टंकियों की जांच करें तथा समय-समय पर सफाई और जल शुद्धिकरण की प्रक्रिया अपनाएं।
प्रशासन का मानना है कि विद्यालयों में स्वच्छ पेयजल उपलब्ध होना बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य और उनकी पढ़ाई दोनों के लिए अत्यंत आवश्यक है। दूषित पानी से होने वाली बीमारियों जैसे डायरिया, टायफाइड और पीलिया से बचाव के लिए यह अभियान बेहद कारगर साबित होगा।
नगरीय क्षेत्रों में जल संयंत्रों और टंकियों की सफाई
ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के साथ-साथ नगरीय निकायों द्वारा भी शहरी इलाकों में स्थित जल संयंत्रों और पेयजल टंकियों की साफ-सफाई करवाई गई। नगर परिषद और नगर पालिका क्षेत्रों में जल आपूर्ति से जुड़ी टंकियों को खाली कर उन्हें पूरी तरह साफ किया गया तथा आवश्यकतानुसार क्लोरिनेशन किया गया। इससे शहरी क्षेत्र के नागरिकों को भी स्वच्छ और सुरक्षित पेयजल उपलब्ध कराने में मदद मिलेगी।
नगरीय निकायों को यह भी निर्देश दिए गए हैं कि वे भविष्य में नियमित अंतराल पर जल संयंत्रों और टंकियों की सफाई सुनिश्चित करें, ताकि किसी भी प्रकार की लापरवाही से जनस्वास्थ्य प्रभावित न हो।
छात्रावासों में भी चला सफाई अभियान
इसके अतिरिक्त आदिम जाति कल्याण विभाग द्वारा संचालित जिले के सभी छात्रावासों में स्थित पेयजल टंकियों की भी साफ-सफाई कराई गई। छात्रावासों में रहने वाले विद्यार्थियों के स्वास्थ्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए टंकियों में क्लोरिनेशन का कार्य किया गया, जिससे पानी पूरी तरह सुरक्षित रहे। विभागीय अधिकारियों ने छात्रावास प्रभारियों को भी निर्देश दिए हैं कि वे नियमित रूप से पेयजल व्यवस्था की निगरानी करें।
जनस्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा की दिशा में अहम पहल
जिला प्रशासन द्वारा चलाया गया यह अभियान जनस्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा की दिशा में एक अहम पहल माना जा रहा है। गर्मी के मौसम और बदलते मौसम के दौरान जलजनित बीमारियों का खतरा बढ़ जाता है। ऐसे में समय रहते पेयजल टंकियों की सफाई और जल शुद्धिकरण कराना बेहद जरूरी हो जाता है।
कलेक्टर श्री हिमांशु चंद्रा के निर्देशन में चलाए गए इस अभियान का मुख्य उद्देश्य यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि जिले के किसी भी विद्यालय, छात्रावास या शहरी क्षेत्र में दूषित पानी की आपूर्ति न हो। प्रशासन ने संकेत दिए हैं कि भविष्य में भी इस प्रकार के अभियान नियमित रूप से चलाए जाएंगे।
प्रशासन की अपील
जिला प्रशासन ने विद्यालय प्रबंधन, छात्रावास प्रभारियों और नगरीय निकायों से अपील की है कि वे स्वच्छ पेयजल व्यवस्था को प्राथमिकता दें। साथ ही आम नागरिकों से भी अनुरोध किया गया है कि वे अपने घरों और आसपास की जल टंकियों की नियमित सफाई कराएं, ताकि बीमारियों से बचा जा सके।

Neemuch Drinking Water Tank Cleaning Campaign: Clean Drinking Water Campaign Launched in Urban Areas and Schools

A comprehensive campaign was launched on Sunday under the guidance of Collector Shri Himanshu Chandra with the objective of ensuring the availability of clean drinking water in Neemuch district. Under this campaign, cleaning, chlorination, and pipeline repair work were carried out on drinking water tanks located in all government and private schools, urban areas, water treatment plants, and hostels in Neemuch district. This campaign, launched by the district administration, is considered a significant step towards protecting the health of students, hostel residents, and the general public.
The District Education Officer stated that during the campaign, the drinking water tanks in all government and private schools in the district were thoroughly cleaned. The accumulated dirt in the tanks was removed, and they were completely cleaned to eliminate the risk of waterborne diseases. Chlorination was also carried out to ensure the purity of the water.
RO Systems in Schools Also Cleaned
As part of the campaign, the RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems installed in schools were also thoroughly cleaned. In many places, old and faulty RO filters were replaced to ensure that children receive pure and safe drinking water. The District Education Officer has instructed the heads of the concerned institutions to regularly inspect the RO systems and drinking water tanks and to carry out cleaning and water purification processes periodically.
The administration believes that the availability of clean drinking water in schools is essential for both the health and education of children. This campaign will prove highly effective in preventing waterborne diseases such as diarrhea, typhoid, and jaundice.
Cleaning of Water Treatment Plants and Tanks in Urban Areas
Along with rural areas, urban local bodies also carried out the cleaning of water treatment plants and drinking water tanks located in urban areas. In the Nagar Parishad and Nagar Palika areas, water supply tanks were emptied and thoroughly cleaned, and chlorination was carried out as needed. This will also help in providing clean and safe drinking water to citizens in urban areas.
Urban local bodies have also been instructed to ensure regular cleaning of water treatment plants and tanks in the future, so that public health is not affected by any negligence.
Cleaning drive also conducted in hostels
In addition, the drinking water tanks in all the hostels run by the Tribal Welfare Department in the district were also cleaned. Considering the health of the students residing in the hostels, chlorination was carried out in the tanks to ensure that the water remains completely safe. Departmental officials have also instructed the hostel wardens to regularly monitor the drinking water system.
A significant initiative towards public health safety
This campaign launched by the district administration is considered a significant initiative towards public health safety. The risk of waterborne diseases increases during the summer and changing weather conditions. In such a situation, timely cleaning and purification of drinking water tanks becomes extremely important.
